Description: The Terra Sancta College for girls was inaugurated in 1842 and St’ Joseph nuns were selected to administrate and run the new school and take care of it. It’s worth to mention that the number of the female students hit the 400 girls. This very big number of girls that registered to school is just an indicator of this interest and care. Since the communications and instructions were highly exchanged between the parishes of Jerusalem and Bethlehem, so it wasn’t very strange that also the school of Bethlehem did what was done in Jerusalem.
